Yesterday, I received a note from the White House announcing the Jewish second gentleman and vice president installed a mezuzah at the official residence. A mezuzah is a scroll with certain biblical texts, typically in a decorative case, which Jews hang on their doorposts per Deut. 6:9, among other texts.
